First Project Ocean Revival ships were sunk 4.2 out of 5 based on 5 votes.

Sea conditions and wind expected for the sinking of the first two vessels will lead the project Ocean Revival forced to reschedule sinking of NRP-EX and EX Carmo Oliveira and NRP-Zambezi for October 30th.

With the sinking of the corvette "Oliveira e Carmo" and the patrol ship "Zambezi", today began to take shape the Ocean Revival project to create a center of tourism underwater off the coast of Portimao, 30 feet deep and about three miles from Prainha.

Moments of particular spectacle, both dips were accompanied by many hundreds of people, both on land and aboard several ships and was also transmitted straight to the world via the internet.

From now on, and in due time, the Port Authority Portimão announce the opening of ships to any type of diving, including penetration for certified divers.

The two Portuguese Navy vessels make up the first nucleus that project, which in the near future also predicts the sinking of the frigate "Hermenegildo Capelo" and oceanographic ship "Almeida Carvalho," simultaneously creating an artificial reef conducive to the development of the marine ecosystem.

An investment of around three million euros aimed at boosting tourism and explore diving in Algarve.

The vessels will be sunk about 30 feet deep off Alvor, becoming the highest part of the ship about 15 meters from the surface, not to cause hindrance to the waterway.

The prosecutor wants the project allows placing the Algarve circuit in international diving due to climate and abundance of species of marine fauna and flora.
