Parque da Mina is a renovated old farm, just outside Caldas de Monchique, with an 18th century furnished house, which has now been converted into a theme park. The highlights include a disused ore mine, a Medronho distillery (a local brew made from distilled medronho berries of the Albutus/Strawberry Tree and originally created in back room stills) and wood coal production.

One of the best and biggest Water Park in Europe. 25 years of adventures.
Opened in the 10th of June 1986, Slide & Splash with an area of 7 Acres, is considered the biggest one in Portugal, and one of the biggest in Europe. The park has a gigantic area of grass, of 4 Acres.

Zoo Lagos is a magnificent zoo, founded on the principle of “conservar-educar-proteger” (conservation-education-protection). You can tell as soon as you go in that Zoo Lagos is all about the animals, the environment they live in is beautiful and the animals are so happy that many of them are breeding!
